We enjoyed watching the falling snow and decorating for Christmas.
It is an inspiring place to live and the holidays
take on a magical hue with the new fallen snow.

A Cup of Christmas Tea
December 18, 2010

We celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary on December 18th at the Nook and Cranny. Robert and Marilu, Steve and Tami, Cindy and Bob joined us for dinner to celebrate and we all had a very nice time. The food was delicious and laughter filled the air.
Thank you
Tami and Steve for a relaxing and enjoyable place to celebrate our special day.

We spent Christmas in Florida with my son Rudy.
We trimmed the tree on Christmas Eve.

Enjoyed dinner at the Columbia Restaurant in St. Augustine,

Visited with friends at Dick and Charlotte's house, then went to midnight mass at Sacred Heart Catholic church.

Christmas Day was our leisure family time enjoying each others company and cooking dinner. We started with a morning brunch with mimosa's. We celebrated Christmas Dinner with a Spanish meal of Beef Tenderloin, Good Rice, 1905 Salad, Cuban bread and Sangria.

We returned to Maine on Monday, Dec. 27th. We landed in Bangor under blizzard conditions and spent the night in the Airport Hotel. On Tuesday, we returned home to Eastport via the airline road without any problems. Although, the roads in Calais were treacherous with ice from the previous day's sleet and snow.

It was great to see all our friends in Florida and to visit with Rudy. I miss my son and our weekly family dinners. I will work for plane tickets back and forth to see him and get a hug.

I do enjoy my home in Maine
and the friends that we have made....living our dream.
